Dr. Paster

Dr. Erin Paster received her veterinary medical degree from the University of Minnesota in 2001. She then finished a rotating internship at Michigan Veterinary Specialists in 2003.

Dr. Paster worked at the University of Pennsylvania for 1 1/2 years as a post-doc, where she was involved with canine hip dysplasia research, including the Nestle-Purina life-long study in Laborador Retrievers. She was PennHIP certified in 2003. She also ran the PennHIP clinic at the University of Pennsylvania, educating clients, veterinarians, and dog breeders about PennHIP screening and hip dysplasia. Dr. Paster completed a 3 year surgical residency at UC Davis and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (board-certified surgeon) in 2009.

She is now a mobile surgeon working through Mobile Surgery Services. She provides surgical services to Animal Medical Center offering orthopedic, soft tissue and neurosurgical procedures and PennHIP evaluations.
